Rhythmic plant movement in response to the day-night cycle, typically the folding or drooping of leaves at night and reopening during the day. Driven by changes in turgor pressure in specialized structures (pulvini) at the base of leaves or leaflets. Seen in many legumes (Fabaceae) and Oxalis.
